Fueled by a vision to be and make disciples who love and serve Christ, the Home, the Church, and the World, the Living on Target lifestyle fuels authentic growth through a daily rhythm of word, prayer, and worship.
Living on Target Network
The Living on Target Network is a growing global community of churches and leaders united around a shared mission to make and be disciples who love and serve Christ, Home, Church, and World. For many years, Pastor Kelvin Smith from charlotte, NC has gathered local and global leaders for discipleship, building lasting relationships through shared prayer, teaching, and ministry experiences. These efforts have expanded intentionally through Living on Target Conferences and related gatherings, which have become catalysts for identifying, equipping, and connecting leaders who share this vision.
At the heart of the Living on Target Lifestyle is a commitment To Be and Make Disciples by focusing on the four essential foundations of a Christ follower:
Foundation One: Loving and Serving Christ begins with abiding in Christ by establishing a daily rhythm of Word, prayer, and worship that cultivates intimacy with God and spiritual strength.
Foundation Two: Loving and Serving the Home calls leaders to serve their families in ways that make both home and church safe and life-giving places.
Foundation Three: Loving and Serving the Church focuses on building up the body of Christ through discipleship and service.
Foundation Four: Loving and Serving the World extends outward into mission, service, and witness. These four foundations form the spiritual framework of every relationship within the network.
Network Members
Being a Living on Target network member is a dual commitment reserved for church pastors and key leaders who are dedicated to the intentional process of being and making disciples. Membership is defined by two distinct areas of responsibility: the personal commitment to the process and the professional advocacy for the network's mission.
The Personal Commitment: Foundations One and Two:
The personal pace of membership is rooted in the "being" aspect of discipleship. Each member commits first and foremost to Foundation One by cultivating a healthy, vibrant relationship with Christ through a daily rhythm of prayer and Word. This overflows into Foundation Two, where the leader actively loves and serves their family, ensuring their own home is their primary ministry. By living out these first two foundations, members model the very life they are called to reproduce in others.
The Church and Global Advocacy: Foundations Three and Four:
The church pace of membership focuses on the "making" aspect of discipleship through Foundations Three and Four. As advocates for the Living on Target model, members commit to loving and serving the church by implementing these concepts within their own congregations and loving the world through global outreach. A network member acts as a catalyst, applying these tools to lead their church in a unified mission to make disciples who love and serve Christ, Home, Church, and the World.
